The project revolves around an aged apartment unit in need of a redesign, I took on the task to contemporise the bedroom and adjoining ensuite. The redesign emphasizes on the improvement of the interior atmosphere by bringing in natural light whilst keeping the hot tropical climate out.

Having been provided the style the client was aiming for, and a modest budget for
the refurbishment, the challenge was to utilize the budget given to achieve a
modern high-end “hotel” look.

Using a palette of wood and tiles, highly contrasting colours and an array of
different luminaries, the bedroom was endowed to have a minimalism modernist flair.
